DREAM (Diabetes Research Envisioned and Accomplished in Manitoba) Trainee Day

This year again, the DREAM theme and MyRoad are excited to announce the DREAM Trainee Day! This event will take place on Wednesday, November 6^th, 2024, in Winnipeg, Manitoba prior to the 13^th Annual DREAM Symposium intitled “Advancing Diabetes Discoveries: Leveraging Big Data”, held on November 7^th, 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity for trainees to participate in an interview prep workshop, and have a career-related discussion with academic and non-academic panelists.

We are now accepting abstract submissions from ALL diabetes researchers (including undergraduates and graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, residents, fellows, technicians, research associates and community members) who have research projects in any field related to diabetes.

Awards:

Financial awards will be given to the top 3 presentations.

Travel Assistance:

With support from MyRoad, the top external submitted abstracts will also receive travel grants to present their poster and attend the DREAM Trainee Day and DREAM symposium in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 10 travel awards available from MyRoad to cover accomodation and up to $750 for flight traveling.
