MyRoad is pleased to invite you to the Sommet ESCALATE, May 16 and 17, 2024 at L’Auberge St-Antoine in Quebec City.
ESCALATE is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research funded initiative that study how Canadian cities can best implement urban trails that are fair for all citizens and generate the greatest possible cardiovascular health benefits.
Trainees and early-career investigators of MyRoad are invited to attend a portion of the summit, including the morning presentations on May 16 and 17 as well as the group cycling experience on the afternoon of May 16. The mornings will feature presentations from non-governmental organizations, city leadership from across Canada, and academics on a range of topics. The presentations will be accessible in a bilingual format.

It is a great opportunity to learn more about:
- intervention research related to the built environment;
- implementation science; and
- community-engagement in the research process.
Breakfasts, morning snacks, and lunchs of May 16 and 17 will be provided by the ESCALATE team. 10 places are available. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
