The consensus is growing that science without sex and gender is simply not good science.

That’s why at the CIHR Institute of Gender and Health (CIHR-IGH), we’re on a mission to progress sex and gender science and build the capacity of the next generation of health researchers—all with the goal of achieving health equity for women, men and gender-diverse people.

And we need the help of your trainees and early career researchers (ECRs) to get us there!

Trainees and early career researchers are invited to two virtual, national Listening Tour townhalls in November.

During the townhalls, trainees and early career researchers will have an opportunity to:

  • Receive mentorship and advice from a Sex and Gender Champion during small group sessions;
  • Hear a vision for IGH’s next Strategic Plan, which will guide the Institute’s research priorities and grant investments;
  • Share their insights to shape the future of sex and gender science; and
  • Learn more about opportunities and resources available to trainees and early career researchers, including the IGH Sex and Gender Science Trainee Network.
